Human Element Solutions for Limousine Quality Assurance


Dr. Yvonne LaMar gained visibilty in the limousine industry by providing educational seminars through Tom Mazza Consulting (TMC).  Dr. LaMar partnered with Tom Mazza and TMC to provide numerous services including government contract submissions, quality assurance evaluations, and overnight dispatch operations. 

In 2011, a partnership was formed between Dr. LaMar and Dr. Christine Kay to provide Quality Assurance services to large luxury ground transportation operators nationwide.  The service, LimousineQA, in partnership with The HE2 Collection provides online surveys for passengers that are instantly processed and available to executive teams. Response to the service has been overwhelmingly positive, mainly because it seamlessly becomes a valuable and informative component of every-day operations.

Dr. LaMar's academic background is in Educational Psychology & Measurement and Program Evaluation.  Dr. LaMar received an MS and PhD from Cornell University.  She earned her BA in Psychology at Temple University and an MSEd in Psychology from University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Christine Kay’s
human resources management services and projects have ranged from studies in hiring and employment practices and research on industry-specific management competencies to organizational climate surveys and compensation, benefits and employment surveys. Dr. Kay is committed to building human resources management knowledge for industry professionals.

Since 1995, Dr. Kay has taught hospitality and business undergraduate courses at Florida International University-School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Palm Beach Atlantic University-Rinker School of Business and Nova Southeastern University-H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship. In 2006/07, she served as a Visiting Professor at Lynn University, College of Hospitality Management. Dr. Kay has published human resources-related articles in academic journals including
Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly, International Journal of Hospitality Management, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Education by CHRIE, and Contemporary Journal of International Hospitality Management. Also in 2005, Dr. Kay with two faculty members of FIU was awarded a grant for research titled “Employee Retention Programs for the Lodging Industry”.
 
Dr. Christine Kay received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in hospitality management from Lynn University and Florida International University. She earned her MBA and doctoral degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University, H. Wayne Huizenga Graduate School of Business & Entrepreneurship.
